5miler Training Program
One of the great things about a 5 mile race is that it isn't super short like a 5K, but not quite as long as a 10K or Half Marathon! It is fairly simple to gain the endurance needed to run or race a 5 miler. Check out the links below for programs that will have you ready to run in no time!
Travel
Oakesdale is located on the Palouse Scenic Byway down Highway 27.

South from Spokane via 195:
Take 195 South. 34 miles south take WA-271 towards Oakesdale. In Oakesdale, take right on Bartlett and find parking near Oakesdale City Park.

Coming South from Spokane via 27:
Take 27 South and follow into Oakesdale. Take right on Bartlett and find parking near Oakesdale City Park.

North from Colfax/Pullman via 195:
Take 195 North. Approx 8 miles north of Colfax, take right on to Hume Rd. Follow Hume Rd into Oakesdale - turn right at Crossett's Food Market followed by a left on Bartlett and find parking near Oakesdale City Park.

North from Colfax/Pullman via 27:
Take 27 North into Oakesdale. Turn right at Crossett's Food Market followed by a left on Bartlett and find parking near Oakesdale City Park.
